Honda’s ‘Impossible Dream’…REDUX

When I first saw this ad I loved it! What one might call the “Directors Cut” is now some 20 seconds longer and is just brilliant – with the addition of the Honda Jet giving it a James Bond feel towards the end…

Also watch for the CR-Z Hybrid Coupe, the FCX Clarity which is the world’s first dedicated platform hydrogen vehicle and the very spirit of Honda personified in ASIMO, the humanoid robot.

How could they have bettered it?

If the ending was located in the wilderness of it’s target audiences (i.e. Australia’s outback, US Rock Mountains, etc) it would of left the viewer with a feeling that while Honda can achieve all of this they are still “local”, so to say…but they do present a very “green” image with whales in the bay and solar panels on the roof and is a brilliant piece of branding backed by sensational tag line…

“What good is dreaming, if you don’t actually do it”
